Mountain Springs Camping Resort is located just outside Hamburg, PA—tucked into the edge of the Blue Mountains, right between I-78 and the Appalachian Trail. We’re 90 minutes from Philadelphia, 2 hours from NYC, and surrounded by some of the best hiking, fishing, and small-town exploring in Eastern Pennsylvania.

Whether you’re passing through for a night or planning a full week outdoors, this is a place to recharge, spread out, and get back to real camping—without sacrificing basic comforts.

Our 292 campsites include:

  • Electric + water hookups (20, 30, and 50 amp options)
  • Sewer connections at many sites
  • Tent-friendly, RV-ready layouts with shade or sun
  • Cabin rentals for groups of 4 to 6, with A/C and refrigerators

Every guest gets access to:

  • Free Wi-Fi across the park
  • Stocked fishing pond (no license needed)
  • Two pools, arcade, sports courts, and playgrounds
  • Snack shack, laundry, LP gas, dump station
  • Weekend events like wagon rides, bingo, and dances (in-season)

Need to pick up supplies? Our camp store has firewood, ice, and gear on-site. No long detours or town runs required.

You won’t need to drive hours into the wilderness for a real outdoor experience. From our campground, you’re:

  • 10 minutes from Hawk Mountain Sanctuary (incredible hiking + birding)
  • 5 minutes from the Appalachian Trail

  • Within 30–45 minutes of French Creek State Park, Blue Marsh Lake, and Port Clinton

Here’s what to know:

  • Someone has to be present on the site for the entire stay, who is at least 21 years of age.
  • Holiday weekends fill fast—book early
  • One family or four adults per site
  • Children under two stay free
  • Cabins: no pets, no smoking, bring your own linens
  • Stay 6 nights, get the 7th night free
